Here are some foods that you must consider to control gout :
  1. Avoiding foods high in purines levels of. Such as offal, sardines, clams, shrimp, crab, tuna, anchovies, mackerel, herring, extract of meat, mussels, broth, brain, ear mushrooms, and sweet breads. 
  2. Limiting foods that have medium purine levels. Such as asparagus, mushroom, soy, spinach, avian meat, cabbage, and beans.
  3. Some foods that may be consumed due to the low levels purine. Such as Eggs, chocolate, cheese, cereals, butter, cassava, sweet potatoes, vegetables (except mentioned above), white rice, crackers, fruit, corn, noodles, and yogurt.
  4. Reduce high-fat diet and fructose.
  5. Sufficient vitamin C to stimulate the excretion of uric acid.
  6. Meet the need of fluids in the body.
  7. Increasing high carbohydrate diet.
Low-purine diet can do to control gout. Remember, the most effective drugs exist in ourselves. If you are health conscious, of course you will do it, right?
